Pastor's Message

FROM YOUR PASTOR'S DESK

Dear St. Andrew's,

I wanted you to know what a privilege it is to be with you as your interim pastor. I have told many of you that the circumstance that has brought me to this position greatly saddens me; yet I am honored to serve you and to build upon the legacy that Al Lynch has left.

It has been a very long time since I have been a part of planning and conducting services for Advent and Christmas. I am not naturally disciplined and have strong procrastination tendencies, but I must tell you that, throughout this season, I have joyfully awakened, very early every morning, in anticipation of the preparation to be done. This time has been a sacred gift and has filled this holiday time with great meaning for me.

I look forward to the months ahead as together as we follow the church calendar through the seasons of Epiphany, Lent, and Easter. I also look with you, in great anticipation, as we prepare to receive a new pastor to continue the ministry at St. Andrew's.

Thanks to all of you for your kindness and commitment as together we continue to serve our Risen Lord.
